American Media, Inc. Names Jeff Christian New Publisher of Fit Pregnancy

NEW YORK, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- David J. Pecker, Chairman and CEO of American Media, Inc. (AMI) today announced that Jeff Christian has been named Publisher of Fit Pregnancy and Mom and Baby magazines. He will also oversee the brand's web site, www.fitpregnancy.com. Mr. Christian replaces Deb Mignucci who is leaving AMI.

"We are delighted to have someone with Jeff's extensive experience and deep client relationships join Fit Pregnancy. He has an excellent understanding of the parenthood category, is highly respected by the ad community, and has a solid track record of success", said Mr. Pecker. "At the same time, we are sad to see Deb Mignucci leave. She did an outstanding job for us and we wish her the best in her new venture."

Mr. Christian was most recently at Meredith Corporation where he held a number of high-level positions including being the Group Associate Publisher of the American Baby Group for a number of years. He also served as a Director of Integrated Sales and a Managing Director in Meredith's Home Solutions Group.

"I am excited by the opportunity to lead the team at Fit Pregnancy," said Mr. Christian " Having spent over a decade working in the parenthood category, I look forward to growing the Fit Pregnancy brand and our message -- healthy mom, healthy baby -- both in print and online."

Mr. Christian will report to Mr. Pecker and be based in American Media's New York Offices. He is a graduate of Penn State University.
