Tellabs Names Texas Instruments 'Supplier of the Year'

TI's performance enables Tellabs to help its customers succeed
NAPERVILLE, Ill., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tellabs awarded Texas
Instruments (TI), with its 2008 Supplier of the Year Award for outstanding
performance. This is the second consecutive year that TI has won the award,
which was presented at Tellabs' Supplier Alliance Day in Naperville last
night.
TI won Tellabs' Supplier of the Year award through successful
participation in Tellabs' Supplier Alliance Program. Tellabs evaluates its
suppliers based on meeting high standards in the areas of technology, quality,
responsiveness, delivery and total cost management. High performance by
suppliers on these measures enables Tellabs to help its customers succeed.
