digitalML releases ignite7, with new features and more configuration
NEW YORK, Oct. 22, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- digitalML today announced a total re-design, as well as brand new features, to their ignite Platform with the latest version, 7. ignite allows large enterprises to build a holistic catalog of APIs and Services and extend their API and Service lifecycles to build governed APIs and Services at scale, in support of initiatives like digital transformation and IT modernization.
"Large enterprises understand that exposing their core business capabilities and IT functions as a set of APIs and Services is the entry ticket to becoming a digital leader. We knew we had to help make it easier, safer, and faster to create those APIs and Services, and make them available to their entire enterprise in a way that's understood by everyone, not just developers. That was the main driver behind this radically new iteration of ignite," says Jeremy Sindall, CEO at digitalML.
"ignite has been purpose built to accelerate digital responsiveness by addressing the gap in the API and Service Lifecycle and Catalog as part of a componentized and best of breed architecture our customers are operationalizing," says John Bogard, VP Sales at digitalML.
Features and benefits of ignite include:
-- Holistic API and Service Catalog - A single location to discover, reuse
and manage APIs and Services.
Services and methods/operations are organized and aligned to taxonomies and maturity models (governance, patterns, standards) for a complete view of your API and service portfolio
-- Extended API and Service Lifecycle - Scale APIs fast and safely.
The full API and Service Lifecycle, with focus on plan, design and build supports a top-down domain driven design, business capability, and product ownership approach, with a collaborative lifecycle and bringing in an expanded audience. This also supports bottom-up (pass-thru) development, allowing developers to build APIs in their preferred environment, import and validate against standards, governance, and compliance rules and quickly make adjustments and generate approved artifacts.
-- Enhanced configurability
ignite 7 offers enhanced configurations for lifecycle states, governance rules, deployment targets, metadata, search filters, versioning, design types, and more.
-- Expanded upstream and downstream integrations
The new version of ignite will be available starting on October 14, 2020. For more information on ignite, visit digitalml.com/ignite.
